
Columbus Jewish Choral Festival Concert

3:00 PM - 4:30 PMCongregation Beth Tikvah, 6121 Olentangy River Rd, Worthington, OH 43085After a day of working with guest composer David Shukiar, President of the Guild of Temple Musicians, choirs from Congregation Beth Tikvah, Temple Beth Shalom, Temple Israel and Temple Shomer Emunim will present a concert of his works, including settings of Hinei Mah Tov, Mi Shebeirach, and Sha’alu Shalom Yerushalayim, sung in April at Carnegie Hall. David will share stories about the pieces and also present a clip of Through Children’s Eyes, a piece based on the writings of children at Terezin.
All of the choirs are Organizational Members of the Guild of Temple Musicians, an affiliate of the American Conference of Cantors. To learn more about the Guild, click here.
