Thank you for your commitment to Beth Tikvah and our shared covenant. Like all synagogues, Beth Tikvah relies on contributions from every family to support our general operations. Together, we cultivate a spiritual home for every soul who wishes to join the Beth Tikvah family. Below is the link to the membership form for 2023-2024. For those who have an existing shulcloud account, please login and begin completing the form. For those of you who have never accessed your ShulCloud account or have never registered for a ShulCloud account, you will need to create a password for access.

Please note that paying by credit card incurs at least a 3% convenience fee.

YIZKOR BOOK 2023-2024
Our Yizkor Book is a special leaflet distributed at Yom Kippur Yizkor Service containing the names of loved ones who have passed away. Although there is no fee, a contribution of "Chai" ($18) per name is appreciated. Please list both names of a deceased couple on the same line and PRINT CLEARLY.
Example: If you enter 4 names for the Yizkor Book, enter the number 4 in the box above.

The Yizkor Book listing is optional $18 contribution per name. Thank you!

 


Names will be displayed in perpetuity for a one time fee of $180 per name. Our Memorial Scroll is located in the sanctuary, where it displays the names of loved ones on the date of their yahrzeit.

It is the Temple policy that we require all individuals to have a lanyard to enter the doors to attend the High Holy Day services. After you have made your membership financial plan for the year, a lanyard(s) will be provided to you for High Holy Day services.

 
* Children are required to have a lanyard to attend the High Holy Day services.
*  Please inform the Temple's Administrative Office the names of the guest 2 WEEKS prior to the High Holy Day services.



 
A. TO SPONSOR AN ONEG:

Option 1:
     Fee: $75 - payable in advance. Sponsor is responsible for purchasing all food and delivering it to the Temple. Temple staff will arrange Oneg items for congregants to receive at the conclusion of services. This fee covers the cost of staff time to arrange food for serving and any Temple supplies. Food served at Beth Tikvah must be kosher-style, and must not contain pork or shellfish. Food prepared for Oneg should not contain nuts. 

Option 2:     Fee: $150 - payable in advance. Sponsor hires Temple staff to shop for Oneg nosh for congregants to receive at the conclusion of services. This fee covers the cost of food served PLUS staff time to shop and arrange food for serving, and any disposable Temple supplies.    

B. BIMA FLOWERS: 

Sponsor may provide the actual floral arrangement or for $100, the staff will order your flowers. If you are providing the floral arrangement, please inquire with the office staff as to the sizing requirements.

** If you are unable to  commit to an amount in the "Membership Commitment Level above, select the drop down menu above and choose "Opting to do Membership Commitment (Modified)". Enter your membership commitment amount in the "Membership Commitment (Modified) box in order to click the submit button below and continue the submission process.  
 * Type in the amount you are committing for membership if the amount is different than the suggested Membership Commitment Levels.

** If you choose to do a "Membership Commitment (Modified) abovemake sure you go to the Membership Commitment Level drop down menu and select "Opting to do Membership Commitment (Modified)" in order to click the submit button below and continue the submission process.


If you are paying by check and desire a RECURRING PAYMENT, please choose the options under the "Paying by Regular Check" drop down menu.

The final steps for completing your membership application by CHECK, CREDIT CARD or ELECTRONIC CHECK are listed below!

*If you are paying your commitments by regular check, select the recurring payment option you want the Finance Manager to set up for you in Shulcloud.

* FINAL STEPS FOR THE MEMBERSHIP PAYMENT OPTIONS SELECTED ABOVE AND TO COMPLETE THE SUBMISSION OF THE MEMBERSHIP FORM ARE AS FOLLOWS: 

* After you have selected your membership level, and other desired donations listed on the form, select the payment method you are going to use.

Read the instruction below for the payment option that will be available to you on the next page when you select the "submit" button at the bottom of the form. 

YOU MUST SELECT THE "SUBMIT" BUTTON AT THE BOTTOM IN ORDER TO DO YOUR PAYMENT OR PAYMENT OPTIONS BELOW.  

PAYMENT BY REGULAR CHECK

If you are paying by regular check the the "Pay this amount" must show "Once Now". Choose "Bill to my account" so it is shaded in gray.  Select "Confirm and Continue". 
 
PAYMENT BY E-Check (ACH)  
 
If you want to pay by e-check (ACH) and you don't have it setup already, you must stop the application, go to the home page of your Shulcloud account, and click on the "My Payment Methods" icon button.

Select "add new payment method" and then "add payment method to this gateway". Enter bank routing number and checking account number. Click "Save Payment Method". Your ACH is still not activated at this point.

Shulcloud will send two micro deposits to your bank account within 24 hours.

Take the two micro deposit amounts and go to your "My Payment Methods" icon button on your Shulcloud account Home page. On the e-check  you will see "Verify Micro Deposits" click on that link and enter the micro deposits. You ACH is now ready for use.

 
 
PAYING BY CREDIT CARD OR ELECTRONIC CHECK
 
Credit Card Fee 
      - If you are paying by credit/debit card, there is an automatic credit card fee of at least 3%.

One Time Payment Option:
       - Under the "Payment Amount" drop down, leave it at the default "Once Now". The option you want to use must be shaded in gray. Your options available may be one of the following: "Bill to my account",  "your Credit Card on file", "New Credit Card", or ACH/eCheck. Select "Confirm and Continue". 

Monthly Payment Option:
     - Under the "Payment Amount" drop down menu, choose the number of payment installments you prefer. Select the "Paid" drop down and then select frequency of your payments. Should you choose to pay in multiple installments, the option  "Bill to my account" will not be available. The payment method you want to use must be shaded in gray. Your options available may be one of the following: "your Credit Card on file", "New Credit Card", or ACH/eCheck.Select "Confirm and Continue". If the monthly payment is after 6/30/2023 you will need to adjust your monthly payment amount, and the number of months you are paying, so that your final payment is completed no later than 5/31/2024.

Quarterly Payment Option:
     - Under the "Payment Amount" drop menu down select "4 payments". This also shows the amount of your payment.  Select the "Paid" drop down and then choose "every 3 months". The payment method you want to use must be shaded in gray. Your options available may be one of the following: "your Credit Card on file", "New Credit Card", or ACH/eCheck.Select "Confirm and Continue". If it is after 8/31/2023 quarterly payments will not be an option.


Bi-annual Payment Option:
      - Under the "Payment Amount" drop down select "2 payments".  This also shows the amount of your payment. Select the "Paid" drop down and then choose "every 6 months". The payment method you want to use must be shaded in gray. Your options available may be one of the following: "your Credit Card on file", "New Credit Card", or ACH/eCheck. Select "Confirm and Continue". Final payment must be completed no later than 5/31/2024.
